Player Fatigue & Rest

I'm not sure if this has been posted before on here or not, but it's always good to check your players' status and make sure that they're not tired. Not just the pitchers, but the hitters get tired as well and need a rest every so often. This can especially be the case if you play a lot of consecutive games without a day off.

the 1B 3B and DH are the only positions you have to worry about with hitters but if you move the DH around a bit with various players they can mostly play nearly everyday. The DH it seems to push back the tiredness a day or 2 down the road so to speak. Nice to be able to work it to utilize the starting lineup to its full strength. Unfortunately my schedule is 12 days before day off and every team gets same days off.

I use 7-day lineups to slot bench players into the lineup on a regular basis.

Also keep in mind that player names go yellow at about 70%-75% rested so you have plenty of warning.

I rarely use bench players. They are basically my minor league players backing up older players. I think it helps I play each game. Once in a while I will move players up and down the lineup in effort to shake them of the slump they in. 75% of the time it works. The 7 day lineup I rarely if ever use
