Playoff Players go AWOL
What I've done:
--Created fictional league with historical teams from different years (ie. 1909 Pirates, 1972 Reds, 1963 Dodgers, etc) --Turned off all options I could find that might change the rosters (injuries, trades, suspensions, etc) --Set default season to 1909 (the "best" team in the league) --Simmed entire season What happened: --All the teams in the playoffs have empty rosters! --The teams not in the playoffs have full rosters. I've repeated this experiment twice and got the same results...all the playoff teams' players go missing and the league grinds to a halt. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like no one is doing their playoff rosters. Do you control each of the teams or are they ai controlled?

Then I have no idea. Wish I could help, that was about the only thing I can suggest. Maybe when they get into the playoffs, go into the League settings and select runn CPU GM on all teams, that should fix it but I suggest backing it up first, just in case

When you look at the playoffs teams in the transaction menu you should have an active roster drop down and a playoff roster drop down. This should also be in the player list screen.
Are you looking at active roster or playoff roster? Have you tried turning off Playoff Roster Eligibility Rules. I do not remember where the option is but it exists. I am wondering if the different years you imports are not registering and the game thinks that none of the players are playoff eligible. When does the 1909 season end? Is it before the August 31st(?) Playoff roster deadline? That may also be the culprit. Good luck, Tom (LP)

I disabled post season roster rules and the players stuck around for the playoffs. :-)

I have additional tinkering to do...Johnny Bench had 193 HRs and didn't even lead the league. But I suspect that is for a different thread. LOL
