Question OOTP4 QUESTION! READ!!!

When I read reviews, etc. it said that minor leaguers could learn new positions w/o it costing me points? How come I do not see that in my game? The only time I see a player can learn a new position in in Spring Training but it costs you 5 points. Isn't there a way for them to learn new positions in the minors? Lemme know!

When you're setting your minor league lineups, put the player in the lineup and right-click on his name. Assign him a position other than his current one and the word "teach" will appear under the position. Leave it like that and after enough games your scout should e-mail you to let you know if the position change was successful or not.

Thumbs down

Ok - new problem. I tried to teach my RF to play C, and when it said "C" and below it it said "(Teach)", I went back to simming my season...and a few days later checked it and he was back to RF? What gives? I never got any eMails either?

you probably have the computer managing your minor leagues - this is set in the team setup screen (make sure it's set to human)

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.
