It's really cool that OOTP provides the Drafted Players view in the League History Index so that a user can review past draft classes and compare how various draft selections wound up performing career-wise. I'd like to suggest a couple of enhancements for consideration.
- Addition of a WAR column to the Batters table and Pitchers table. Right now, with the current view a user can identify stuff like "Who wound up hitting the most homers in this draft class?" and so forth, but is unable to address the most obvious question -- which player(s) in the draft class wound up being the most valuable, or provided the most value in their career? i.e. Who was the "best" player in the draft class?
- A tally for cumulative WAR for the year's draft class. This would allow for direct comparisons between different year's draft classes -- i.e. "The 1976 draft class was pretty weak with only 48.3 WAR, but the 1977 draft class was one of the best ever: they amassed 179 WAR in total."
- Prioritizing major league totals over minor league totals when sorting table columns. Currently, you can sort columns by clicking the column header. However, this just sorts by raw numbers -- i.e. if sorting by games player, a career of 205 major league games is treated the same as a career of 205 minor league games. I'd like to suggest that sorting goes by: major league values, highest to lowest, then minor league values, highest to lowest.
