Anybody else seeing that the write up on the HOF Plagues is spilling over into the border?

I went into this thread worrying about rats with plague-ridden fleas and realized that the fix was simply an updated XML file.

We are also updating the text that will get generated to be a bit shorter. Our text writer, Cole, likes to be expressive in his writing.

Do the baseball cards display the Hall of Fame write-ups that the plaques do?

Really depends on the baseball card. Alot of them do but alot of them don't.

If you want the plaques (at least on PC) simply remove all the hof_*.xml from the bb_card directory except for hof.xml.

To be honest, I compiled the baseball card set and I think I may go with the hof plaques because they are that cool.

Did you download the yearly baseball card mod by chance?
If you did you should read this thread as you will need to delete the HOF cards to get plaques

no they just have stats if I remember right but I'd have to check after work when I get home. Maybe I did something wrong

I didn't install any mods except the all in one MLB one to get face Gen pics

I might be wrong but I think the All-In-One includes the baseball cards. I remember there was discussion with Gambo about it during beta

I got another dumb question. I play mostly random debut and historical. I will be downloading the historical facegen mod when I get home from work. I'm really thinking about skipping the All in One Mod this year, due to the plaques/baseball card deal. I guess my question is, what players are included in the historical facegen? Does the historical facegen package include all the players up through 2013 or 14?

As Matt mentioned, much of the text has been shortened and for the next patched update, this issue should be hopefully completely gone.

I mean, on the one hand it would really suck.

But on the other, it would be some pretty small fatality stats, as far as plagues go.

I have mixed feelings.
