Trades Between Leagues and Service Time

I don't want movement in between leagues to reset service time. I can prevent a service time reset with a check box in the financial screen for free agent signings, but this does not prevent the reset from happening when a player is traded to a different league. Is this working as intended? Can we get a way to make this work (or is there a way that I am overlooking)?

I want to allow trades between leagues, I just don't want that trade to reset service time. It stands to reason that if when the player signs as a free agent he retains his service time, he should also retain it when traded.

Are you trading within the same league type? or different league types.

i.e. trades between two MLB leagues or between a MLB league and an Independent league.

It was two major leagues, but with different reputation levels. It was weird because the player that went "up" a league reputation level did not lose his service time while the player who went "down" did and I've been unable to recreate it in my current test league so am beginning to wonder if I just missed the check mark for that particular league or something. I'll keep testing and come back with screenshots if I see the issue again.

Sounds like you might have left one league checked. I did that too with a test of my setup and spent a solid hour trying to figure out what was going on.
