Final score: 41-20
Minnesota State beats Bemidji State 41-20 in an eight-inning game (presumably, the mercy rule was applied to put both Bemidji State and the 125 fans out of their misery).

The game was more competitive than the final score suggests. Considering the rate of scoring, it's a shame it wasn't allowed to go the full 9. A comeback wasn't out of the question.

Crazy. Minnesota St actually has a very nice staff with a few pro prospect types on the team. Amazing that they'd have that bad a game.

One interesting point in the box score caught my attention. Occasionally, we'll get someone on the forum asking about a pinch-hitter who bats twice in the same inning, and whether he should be listed as a position player in his second at-bat. The correct way to score that, though, is to list the batter as a pinch-hitter for both at-bats, as was the case with Ryan Moffett, a pinch-hitter who batted twice in the top of the eighth inning for Minnesota State.
