Having player change position?

I drafted a SS and I want to move another SS in my system to 2B or 3B how would I do that?

Do I just go into the editor window and change it or is there a way I can develop him in the new position?

you can set position by right clicking a player in your organization.

just play them at that position, and they will gain experience. this is more complicated if you let the ai control this stuff. they may not agree with where you place a player on the depth chart. use the typical workarounds.

if a current infielder has extremely poor outfield range, don't expect them to develop that without the help of an improbable amount of random talent changes. but, their experience will increase quickly with playing time.

Force start at the position you want him at in the minors in the player's game setting.
