Righties better than Southpaws?
In one of my fictional leagues, I brought this guy up to the majors:
![]() Then decided to make him bat, and throw left handed: ![]() And after that, he lost a star, then I changed him back to throwing right handed, and he regained that star. Any ideas? |

Wow! Did his ratings vs. RHB and LHB make the difference?

I am pretty sure if you changed the handedness of a batter or pitcher, their ratings will NOT change v.Lefties and v. Righties
so if you make a left handed hitter right handed, they will hit righties better than lefties even though they are now right handed |

Righties v southpaws
Souza must be lower in rank when compared to all lefties than he is compared to all righties. I knew the star ratings were relative to position; it's cool that the game takes handedness into account too.
Pull up the Active Player List, select Starting Pitcher, order the pitchers by Overall rating. You can see where Souza ranks relative to the league as of this date. |
