Issue with online trading?

Hey everybody,

im a commissioner of an online league and everything has been working well, with the exception of a few quirks. I've noticed that more often than not, when I force a trade through and push the league updates, one side of the trade's players always end up as free agents and the other side's players don't move anywhere. I have made sure to uncheck DFA free agents etc. when executing the file, but still have issues.

Anybody have trouble pushing through trades or have any tips to prevent this? Other changes, such as FA bids seem unchanged, but the players just dont go where they need to. and I know the trades "posted" because I have emails in my inbox telling me about it.

Why would you "uncheck" DFA? That's where you want them to go. Otherwise they are left sitting in limbo. I'm guessing since they can't be DFA'd they're getting released.

Look at the player history, does it show any transaction after the trade?

I take it you process trades at the end of your sims and not the beginning?

Hey everyone, I'm in this league too and it's a pain. Basically it used to work, but now it doesn't. Every time we push a trade it breaks. The trade is definitely registering because there's a news item about it and the trade shows up in the players' history, but they just don't move teams. Even when we go into the editor and manually move the players to the new teams, when we then execute the new file the players stay where they were.

It's really annoying. Any ideas?

I'm doing a fun online league with just one other person, and we figured out that players were going to FA after a trade if you do the trade and then load an export, instead of doing it the other way around. Guessing this wouldn't be it, as that was us just having no experience in running a league, but just a thought.
