Logo Making

What programs do you guys use to make your awesome logos?
I would like to be able to experiment and make my own logos but I have not found a good site yet.

Answers would be much appreciated, thanks!

I do not make logos but a good free program is Inkscape. Hard to learn though.

Paint.net and GIMP are free programs... Although these two programs may not give you the quality that you see here in these forums... I personally use Photoshop Elements + Elements XXL which adds some things to the regular Elements version... I also use PaintShop Pro which is the program I first started with... Both are good programs to work with and there are some templates out there for both of them...
