You have the day off and you put on a MLB game and play OOTP all day. Great combo! Watching the Nats now and will put the Twins on later. Also I'm drinking coffee all day too. Major stress reliever.

My wife will never allow me to have a nice Xmas day

She'll tell me to come walk today, after she made a mess with eggs in the kitchen and asked me to vacuum and wash the clothes and then tomorrow is Easter (I am not Christian)

and she doesn't realize she bought this as a gift, and I MUST help others by finding flaws in the game to get fixed and start throwing strategy files out there

It's as if her priorities are askew

I sometimes get annoyed when a real MLB game conflicts with my desire to play lots of OOTP. Particularly when my team happens to be sucking for a week or two.

Wish my team only sucked for a week or two instead of most of the last eight years. Guess that's what happens when the owner is more worried about profit and the GM thinks that winning minor-league championships is better than having a competitive MLB team.

My team happens to have a long, embarrassing historical record of varying degrees of ranging incompetents at the manager, GM, and/or ownership level, so I keep my overall appreciation level pretty high in general.

It's just that when I happen to be feeling the OOTP itch a little more than normal, AND the team has dropped 4 out of 5 and happens to be down 4-0 in the 2nd inning, AND I'm actually left alone to focus on whichever of the two I would like to, I sometimes let myself get annoyed about the fact that the real game wasn't on sometime earlier or later that day.

Then I get over it by the next day...usually.
