Stamina issues

I have been noticing in many live games that the pitcher stamina starts out very low. Example...last game Jeff Samardija had 5 full days rest and he started the game as 9% stamina. Thought it was a fluke...then Wood starts the next game on 5 days rest with 13% stamina. Anyone else having these issues and is there going to be a fix?

They automatically take a hit when the game starts. Doesn't affect performance in-game.

So, how are we suppose to know what their status is during the games?? I dont like keeping pitchers in too long if they are getting tired.

If you are playing out your games, I believe it will say (tired) by their name when they are running out of gas.

I think that there is some disconnect here. No pitcher should be starting a game at 9% or 13% ever. Either your rotation is out of whack or some setting is way off. A typical % for a starting pitcher on 4 day rest from the day after a start looks like this'

Day___%
1_____10
2_____40
3_____73
4_____95
5_____100

With the 5th day being his next start. Variations in stamina will see some pitchers getting to 100% by the 4th day. Most if not all reasonable starters should be 100% on the 5th day. The lower end will get tired earlier in the game.

Can you show a screen shot of some SP and their status after a start?

Edit are these pitchers being used in relief at all? Are they set as SP. This makes a difference.

To clarify, if you are playing out games, the important rest indicator is on the batter vs. pitcher widget in the game screen, not in the player profile. Once the game starts, the status in the game screen should say "OK" if he's rested, and then "tiring" when he starts to tire. Before the game starts, the rest status in the player profile screen should be rested, or close to it, but it will immediately drop to "exhausted" to reflect what his status will be after the game is over.

If you are saying that the rest status in the player profile is 9% or whatever even before you enter that day's game, then something is wrong, as Rich says.

Those stamina numbers seem fairly accurate for Chicago Cub pitchers...

I will double check my rotation and see if I screwed something up. I just remember checking both pitchers when I saw the low % to start the games and each pitcher hadn't thrown a pitch in 5 days. I get what you are saying though...on the broadcast screen both pitchers had an "ok" status but in their profile is where the low percentage was showing. If I see it again I will screen shot and post. Thanks everyone!!

Everything is working fine stamina wise as far as I can see. My pitcher says 100% rested pregame. As soon as I start the game and check his profile it shows some fatigue which seems to have no effect on him during the game as far as stamina goes. I usually follow the 100 pitch rule but I will take high stamina pitchers beyond that it certain game situations.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. 37 pitches today and 0 over the last 5 days and he is at 0% rest status. Does the rest status matter or what?

Go to the next day and tell me what it says.

Edit

Your screenshot if that's what it was is not being seen. Can you fix it?
