Abreu Also Retiring, btw
He gets a brief mention by the OP in the Konerko but he deserves more than that, I think.
Bobby Abreu . . . until recent years, the best Venezuelan baseball player ever? Here's one list: 1. Miguel Cabrera 2. Johan Santana 3. Omar Vizquel 4. Luis Aparicio 5. Dave Concepcion 6. Magglio Ordonez 7. Bobby Abreu 8. Felix Hernandez 9. Andres Galarraga Top 10 Baseball Players From Venezuela -- Best Venezuelan MLB Players No question about Miggie topping the list, but Santana, Vizquel, Aparacio, and Concepcion before Abreu? Santana might have been great if he had not broken down in recent years and the other guys were light-hitting glove wizards. I would flip-flop Maggie and The Big Cat, then I would swap Maggie with Hernandez, whom I would give more credit to if he were around longer. Like Santana, you need longevity to make this list and rank high on it. Here's my opinion: 1. Miguel Cabrera 2. Bobby Abreu 3. Andres Galarraga 4. Magglio Ordonez 5. Omar Vizquel 6. Luis Aparicio 7. Dave Concepcion 8. Johan Santana 9. Felix Hernandez ¿Qué tienes que decir a esto, mi amigo?

No love for Venezuela baseball players here, eh? Much prefer bashing Derek Jeter instead? No hay problema!
