A Blast From the Past Request

Does anyone happen to have the template used to create the ABA quickstart game logos? I found a few that Justafan made a few years ago so I'm hoping it exists somewhere. I tried retro-fitting a few but because of the texture used they came out poorly to say the least.

I still have it, but it's a Xara template and it would not convert to .psd very well.

If you'd post it in .psd & .xar formats I'd like to see what I can do with it. Thanks!

I did the best I could with the templates. These were made back when I used plugins a lot and since shied away from. I can't include the plugins due to them being commercial, so these will not have some effects. They are still usable though and maybe you can figure out a way to add simular effects.

Anyway good luck with these.

with and without effects...

I think I've got the hang of it. I've got to find some similar fonts with the 3D effect to work with. Thanks!

Lookin' good. Is that Photoshop?

Xara has a 3D extrusion tool that I used. I know very little about Photoshop, but I think it could do the same.

Actually I made that one in Photo Impact Pro. I have Paintshop Pro X6 but I'm not liking it much. It's very... counterintuitive I guess is the right word. I've made a few more but so far I haven't gotten on just the way I want it yet.

Do you happen to have the template for the minor league teams as well? I have several for round logos but none quite match. Thanks!

I've been able to make a template for the minor league logos but what I really need is the baseball layer from the middle of the logo. I have not been able to find it or reproduce it:

Looks good, but your right and bottom are getting cut off.

I think I've got the hang of it. When I add texture to the inner ellipse id does not turn out right so I'll just forego that part
