The first (in what may become a weekly trend until release day) OOTP 5 chat will be held tomorrow at 3pm ET. It will be held in the OOTPLinks chat room, which can hold between 50-75 people at any given time.

If you're interested, several of us will be there for a while.

lots of things were discussed I will report on a few of them that come to mind at this time.

in career manager you have a card like the player to keep track of your career.

pictures from v4 will work in v5 except they need to be jpeg

not much on playing out games as most betas seemed to simming multiple seasons

impotring 4 to 5 not enabled yet

draft can be done in spring or june

as I recall arbitration not done as hearing but arbitrator just sets the salary for the player

individual settings for team managers , AI mangager will consider the talent of it's team when making these decisions

steals can be set individually as hooks for pitchers

veterans can refuse demotion to minors

lots of talk about things that were done that will really improve the challenge of solo play. financials, free agency, and other improvements that should make it tougher to win every year.

these are a few of the things I can think or right now just want to say this is from memory so nothing I said here should be set in stone. If someone else replies to this feel free to correct anything you think I got wrong.
