Don't know if it's the fastest, but I use "PrtScr" and paste it into paint, then upload to photobucket or something similar.
(For a dual monitor setup, use +Alt+PrtScr" to cap only the active window). |

in windows 8 you can use the snipping tool, clip just what you want off the screen. save and upload to a web-server or photobucket type service

I'd recommend MyImgur, which takes a picture of the currently open window, and then automatically uploads it to your Imgur account. It's really useful when you're doing any sort of Let's Play type post.
