Trick question and thread, but you could try to guess if you want to - the answers are at the bottom of the picture below.

Sure,

1. There are many more autograph seekers these days, and
2. Handwriting itself is becoming a lost art, particularly manifested in
3. People's "signatures" - honestly, I think some folks just "fake it." (One of our board members, a lawyer no less, signs like this: "D_^_^_^_". You think he would know better.)

But,

1. Are fans, particularly kids, justifiably disappointed with these messes?
2. I certainly would never pay any money for balls and other memorabilia autographed in this way.

Heh, in that article, they say:
