Hottest playoff hitter

I have seen quite a few great performances by hitters in the playoffs, but usually they are the premier players. In my 2002 league, Reggie Sanders of the Brewers absolutely exploded in the playoffs. He led his team to a full sweep - 3-0, 4-0, 4-0 of the World Series, after a year when he was traded to the Brewers mid-season and didn't even play that well.

In 11 games of the 2002 playoffs, he hit .395 (17-43), had 13 XBH. hit 9 home runs, drove in 21 runs, and had an insane slugging of 1.140, and an OPS of 1.577. Talk about red hot!

In the regular season, in 69 games with the Brewers, he had only 8 home runs and 31 RBI, with a slugging of .405 and OPS of .765.

How did his team do in the regular season? Who were their opponents?

The Brewers were 102-60 that year, and pretty much dominated their division as I recall - finishing at least 10 games ahead. So he was hitting against better opposition, if anything, that in the regular season.
