Player Pictures issue

Having an issue with pictures "breaking" and not showing up during a game but they show in-between games while inspecting your rosters.

Is this a common issue? Is there a way to permanently fix this?

I think it has something to do with there being home and away jerseys this version, I had it happen a few times and just reloaded the player in question, I know there is an easier way, search around, I recall seeing a few threads about it.

I was actually just about to post about this same issue. I have generated all new photo's and everything I can think of with no luck. They show up fine when you look at the player page or through the rotation or lineup screens. However, during games they randomly disappear. They also seem to disappear on the stat leaders page.

As best I can tell, it has to do with the picture update setting. If I set pics to update "each Jan 1st", then the majority of the FaceGen pics disappear in games, in news stories, etc. If I set them to update "Always if Needed", they all seem to show up everywhere.

I don't know if this is the same issue that I've encountered, but I've noticed that anytime I minimize OOTP and maximize it again, the first picture that Facegen generates after OOTP is maximized has an invisible face, whether it's an in-game picture, statistics, player profile, etc. Once it gets past that first face, it's fine until I minimize and maximize OOTP again.

Once the generated picture is "broken", you have to convince OOTP it needs updating again. Usually clicking on the player and doing the "Same Picture" picture function fixes it. But it's a little tougher for away jerseys - you actually have to go into the folder on Windows where the generated images are stored and delete the offending images.

Anyway, this might not be your issue at all - but if it seems to be happening randomly, try seeing if you can make it happen reliably by minimizing and maximizing OOTP again. I've trained myself never to minimize OOTP until this bug gets fixed - I just Alt-Tab away from it if I need to do something else.

Oh and Andreas and the OOTP developers are aware of the issue and can reproduce it, but they're having trouble figuring out what's causing it.
