Players who have far exceeded their potential
So I'd love the board's opinion on a particular kind of player:
In my league I'm interested in Stephen Strausburg, who currently is a beast 5 star overall rating, BUT his potential ratings have dropped from 5 stars all the way down to 1 star. I'm trying to figure out if this sort of thing should concern me because its a sign he's about to regress badly, or if its really no big deal since he's already fully developed. What do you guys think about players like this who are 'over-achievers', much higher current ratings than their potential, and 2) does it matter if they had extermly high potential ratings before? Thanks, Joe |

In my experience he might have 3 seasons of decent but declining value left.
