Unplayable..Maybe baseball?

I have been playing a season and even though it's been a little boring..i had my leafs in top spot headed into the playoffs. Other than all of the awards going to minor leaguers i have never heard of everything was ok. Problem is the game now crashes every time i try to advance,,i have checked all the rosters..and even though i hate the word unplayable on here...if the game won't advance..i suppose it's unplayable. my question is: being just a very casual baseball fan, would i enjoy ootp14? i like the sim idea but am going to ask for a refund on fhm and wait until the game is half decent. i find it odd that people are being asked to spend 50 bucks on this game and then it doesn't work. i'm not sure of anyuthing else that runs this way. if someone could answer me on the ootp14 question that would be cool,.

First, not to be rude but format your post so that people can understand it.

Second I enjoy OOTP and I am at best a casual fan, but at its full price point no probably not a great buy for a casual fan. However they have a 50% off sale right now for $19.99 which is an amazing deal. OOTP has had 14 versions to fine tune everything and is a fantastic game.

I ended up getting OOTP14 at the sale price. Same as you nelson, i love hockey and am only a casual baseball fan, but I've heard good things so I'm looking forward to giving it a go. Think I'll wait til next season to maybe check out FHM.

haha well if you enjoy what you've seen in the baseball then I'm guessing you'd like the game. I havent tried it yet though. Growing up in a country with basically no ice hockey (on tv or otherwise) I learned about the game by playing NHL 99! Thank god they have nhl gamecenter now!

I was not even a casual fan when I started playing the free version of OOTP (OOTP 8) 4 years ago. I didn't know anything about baseball!

But now it's one of my favorite text sims. (Learned baseball by playing it).

I'm sure you're not going to be disappointed. Get it while it's still on sale!

I'm not a baseball fan really, but think OOTP 14 is an incredible game.
