Converted OOTP 13 league to 14;can't access Game Setup

Hi there. I can login to my newly converted OOTP 14 game as commissioner, but when I try to access the "Game Setup/Options" area to tweak some league settings, the game's prompting me for a password again (even though I'm already logged in as Commish), and when I enter the commissioner password, it doesn't work.

Anyone seen this before?

Yep, it happens to me in my converted league. When I enter the commish password, it does work. A slight annoyance, at the least.

When you enter the password, does it say it's the wrong password? Or is it right and it just doesn't show the screen? Are you positive that's the commish password that was first entered when you created the league?

It says it's the wrong password, when entered.

Pretty sure it's not the same password that was created when the league was started; this league was founded by a different commissioner over 7 years ago. I'm entering the password for our Commissioner login.

But, I upgraded from OOTP 10 -> 11 -> 12 -> 13 without incident.

Yeah, is there anyway you can contact that first guy? It's probably the password he used to create the league.

It sucks cause you shouldn't have to do this (neither should I). I hope OOTP fixes this in the near future.

Nope. He left the league in a huff over some crap that I had no part of like 4-5 years ago. There were two other commissioners in the league after that, before I took over.

Guess this means we all need to roll back to 13 and ask OOTP for refunds.

I have another way to solve this, if it's possible.

Is there a way to duplicate a league, including teams, players, and history...but not the settings?

If that was possible, then I could create a completely new league file...

I posted this as a bug...I'm hoping this wasn't a conscious decision on the part of the developers. If this is the case, this will kill a popular online league that's been going for 26 seasons, and it means anytime there's a falling out between a commissioner and other league members, he can leave the league, keep the password, and essentially hold it hostage forever.

Can we get an official tech supp response please this is a VERY longstanding league with a problem which should be easy to fix by devs.

just wanted to bump this.

I know it's not the official bug report, but I'd like to keep awareness of this until it gets resolved.

As posted above it is for long standing online league, with 56 teams (to my knowledge the largest online league that exists), so in other words, a pretty fair amount of customers affected.

Bump again. Commish has indicated that this issue is yet to be resolved, possibly forcing us to remain in 13. Which is unfortunate for several reasons. If not fixed, I think it would be prudent to request refunds.
