Waiver Error (My Fault) - Need Help
I made a really dumb mistake and I'm hoping someone has some advice. One of my star players became injured and I inadvertently pulled his name down into Waivers (irrevocable) rather than the Disabled List. Is there anything I can do to pull him out of Waivers before he is claimed?

Hopefully, the fact that he's injured might make the AI have no interest whatsoever for him. What I would do is, if he's claimed, just edit his team to return him to your team. You would need to be in commissioner mode for that. I also did a dumb thing when my rosters expanded. I designated a player for assignment, to make room on the 40. Then, when I was about to call up one of my other players on the 40 man, I saw that he got hurt a couple of days ago and it was serious enough that he needed to go on the 60 day DL. If I had just put him on the 60 day DL first, then I never would have had to designate the other guy for assignment. But, oh well. In my case, he's just the 40th man on the 40 man roster and is very easily replacable. And, in my case, he'll probably clear waivers and, if he doesn't, he's a dime a dozen kind of player. In fact, I'm sure he's going to end up being designated for assignment again after the season, to make room on the 40 man for newer prospects who need to be protected. |

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT drag him to the bottom of the screen, where it says drag him to the bottom of the screen to remove him from waivers. If you do that, then he will be released.

Received advice from OOTP. Luckily, I'm also in Commissioner Mode. I right-clicked on the player, and under Transactions I was able to Remove from Waivers.
Thanks all for the replies.
