Either way, I never noticed a story like this with this great of an impact. Very cool!

In this league, McCovey is given a "High" work ethic (but a "Low" intelligence). His current morale rating is "Very Good". FWIW, re the talent change.

It's a Story Line - there are some that have positive outcomes as well as negative.
