Dynamic Salaries

I had an idea that I have been thinking about for a while and it is dynamic salaries. For example here are 2 players and their demands

Player A .265/.322/.401 12 HR 48 RBIs 30 steals Demand: 6.2 million
Player B .221/.289/.312 2 30 RBIs 11 steals Demand: 1.0 million

Lets say player B gets a 1 year contract worth 1.5 million. That would slightly increase Player A's demands because a player with worse numbers got more money than he was demanding.

Any thoughts?

Not a bad idea, but it'd probably need to go both directions, and be position restricted. A C isn't going to see his value altered much based on what a righty long reliever gets.

Yeah it would definitely be position based
