What's your favorite dynasty report?
Which of the Dynasty Reports have you enjoyed following the most?
Personally, I really liked the 'California Dreamin' that mikev did for the GUBA. He doesn't keep it up anymore last I checked, but was my favorite nevertheless. Curt Schilling's is also pretty good, but Mike's is the only one I really followed consistently over time. Anyone else?

Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd have to say Westheim's involving the Portland Racoons. I tend to like dynasty reports most when the team isn't invincible. The Racoons win, but they have their share of struggles as well. Westheim has a great sense of humor.
I also enjoy both of Rpriske's Blue Jay threads. The expansion Jays especially. Last edited by David Watts; 08-02-2013 at 10:53 AM. |

I'm partial to Eugene Church's Islandian Pro Alliance dynasty. About six years ago, he asked for some volunteer help to describe the towns and ballparks for his dynasty, and he let me write up a description of two of them. I had a lot of fun doing that.

Coolest thing here..."About six years ago" That just rocks. I just love it that he has been playing the same league for so long. We really need to get Sweed to write a dynasty.

I enjoy Big T's Cincy report, but all the ones listed previously here are good, too.

My favorite and one that I think sets the gold standard was Big Six's story of Pat O'Farrell. He started in 2003 and I think it ran until 2008. I always thought it should have been published as a book.

Mine, obviously
![]() No, but really, Skyewalker's O's dynasty from last year was what really made me want to do my own. Very well written and so much fun to follow. Today, I read pretty much all of them. I like Skitch's Rockies a lot as well as Sal, the barber's. |

What's your favorite dynasty report?
My favorite is the Portland Raccoons but another one I like is the IBL that gehrig38 made, very cool league and he does a good job writing the story.

Dream Teams' "Metro Leagues" were what got me going in the first place. Also loved the Pat O'Farrell story. At the moment I'm following Orcin and StLee's "Fallout: New Vegas" dynasty, which has a really interesting setting and backstory. As many people have said over the years, that's the beauty of OOTP, that you can do what you like with it. Big Thumbs Up to all dynasty writers

Alex-if I'm not mistaken gehrig38 is Curt Schilling the former MLB pitcher. However, I agree with you he writes some awesome stories.

Btw, I loved watching Schilling pitch. He was a true gamer IMO.

Several that have been mentioned, and also "This is Oakland A's baseball".

That Orioles one mentioned above was my favorite... until it got too far in the future.
There were a couple of Oakland ones I really liked. I don't have the patience for the level of depth put into the postings. I just tell what happened. It is for me as much as anyone else. Moreso, really. |

Though I'm bias, I always liked the online league ones the best because you can access to the player pages and whatnot so it's not all by hand. You can look at things for yourself that way.
California Dreaming can't be beat. Mike made it a lot of fun. ![]() There's still plenty of great solo ones, though I enjoy the stats-only solos the best. It just seems like the team performances are more realistic in them.
