Tracking games played / Fielding statistics / etc

One thing I noticed is every time you make a change to a players position it registers as a game played at that position. Example, defensive replacement came in late in the game, First by mistake I clicked LF then immediately clicked RF. Now he shows as an appearance in both LF and RF even though he never actually appeared in LF. I also had it when making a double switch, when I put the batter into the pitchers spot, then changed it to his new position, it showed 1 game played as a pitcher even though he never was a pitcher. Shouldn't the statistics be updated once you go back to the game and not as you are making the changes? I have gone back and noticed all kinds of oddities with my statistics caused by this

Yeah, I would agree here. It should only take effect when a player is on the field at a position for at least one pitch. I've had it happen plenty of times: you accidentally click SS instead of 2B, and while it's not a problem to change it, the game and the box score both register him as having played a game at SS. Something that should be fixed.

Right now, for those using the new patch (update release) it may prove more helpful for logging purposes if you'd post your specific concern directly in the release thread:

I know it's not quite protocol, but I'm trying best I can to accumulate, categorize, and log those concerns for review.

Now, while putting that out there, let me express a couple of personal notes. First, I'm not of the opinion there's anything game-breaking (yet) so I'm not willing to speculate there'll be any further patches or remedies beyond our exchanges. Secondly, on issues with regard to Facegen, obviously it's not happening much more often than it is, so it's likely a setting, protocol, clean-up, or action needed on the user's part to assist in the solution. I am working hard collecting what information I can and soliciting what help I can to articulate possible avenues for all of you experiencing that problem to try, or at least help better identify the problems and their causes. Be patient. I'm confident we'll arrive at an answer to what I know can be annoying.
