Help with a runtime error

This happens with only one of my save files. The rest appear to be fine. It happens every time at 90%. I've reinstalled the game and the all-in-one mod I use and the error still occurs. Any way to fix this?

It looks like that Microsoft visual c++ is causing problems. I would uninstall it then reinstall it and see if the problem continues. I would see if there is a newer version out of visual c++ but make sure that you uninstall it first and also make sure that you delete the directory of it as well because windows may not of deleted it.

This happened to me in OOTP 13, sent my file to tech support, I haven't got a reply in a while. Don't really know what to do... I'm going to try what fredreed said.

Edit: Tried uninstalling all the visual c++ things installed on my computer, reinstalled them, it didn't help.

Try unistalling ootp 14 and then reinstall it. Make sure that you delete the ootp directory as well. Also try deleting your saved games in ootp 14 and start with a new game.

This started happening to me this weekend with my saved MLB quickstart game as well (and only that one). I was going to give up on it, but I'll try reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ and see if that helps

My online league is having a runtime error every time the commish attempts to convert the league from 13 to 14. Others have tried it too with the same error happening at the same point in the conversion process. 86%.

Yeah, I still haven't received a reply/update in a while from my OOTP 13 league ticket that had this problem. The file was supposedly going to be sent to Andreas, but I haven't gotten an update.

Unreal. I'm sorry you guys have this problem too. I haven't been able to play this game since the end of June. That isn't right. There's no support for it. It's happened twice, how does this motivate me to ever buy OOTP again?

I've moved on. I would still really like an update on that, but I think I truly learned my lesson. Backup, backup, backup. OOTP is just too great of a game (to me) to pass on because of a problem I could've prevented (though that doesn't mean it was all my fault that it crashed). I haven't had that problem since, thankfully.

Is there a way to turn off faces or facegen before attempting to load? I would assume there's the significance of "loading faces" at the 90% mark.
