Hat template Set
I'm creating a hat template set for people to use to make baseball caps for their leagues. Examples of the hats I made are at my league here http://www.laseron.org.
The .psp template I used to make those hats different colors is quite complex and many people don't have expensive paint programs that use layered .psp format (Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop - my roommate is a graphic designer so I have access to these programs but they are big $) so I have received interest of people requesting a set of different colored templates they can add their team logos to. What I need to know is, what format do you want the templates to be in? .gif, .jpg, .bmp, or something else? If use .gif I can set a transparent background but I'm not sure if it would stay transparent after being edited in another program to add the team logo...and .gif is a much lower quality as far as the shading being seamless. I was just going to whip out a quick set but I realized there are quite a few different color combinations once you start mixing and matching different bill colors....so I want to do it right and release a complete fully functional set all at once. How many people would use this set if I did it, and would anyone be able to host the file? The graphic is 150x150.

Also, if you have a request of a color combo to be used for one of the template, post it here with maybe a link to the team's logo it would be for.
Main color: Bill and button color:

Idea for OOTP 6...
A built in logo/hat creator. It would access a "clipart" folder in the game that you could download stuff to...and then you could choose from various templates that plug in the team name, nickname, intials and chosen clipart and font. Uniforms too. Kinda like Madden '03...how it creates a preview as you build it.

I like the hats very much and would love to see something implemented like you described!

I'd like to use a template for my Rocky Mountian Oysters. The white hat and the red bill would work nicely, but I didnt see a "template"
These do look AWESOME! |

Rocky Mountain......Oysters?
How are your team's concessions doing? Portlander... excellent idea about implementing something like this into the game. Changing hats and uniform tops on the (non-supported) fictional player pictures or MLB player pictures would be something a lot of leagues would like.

Photoshop Elements...
is a stripped-down version of Photoshop (mostly without the HTML and color channels features) that I've seen for less than $50 lateley. It will handle .psp format files, and I'd recomend it to anyone looking for a low cost graphic/photo program.
I use .psp for my work, including the Browns logo I polished up and an using as my avatar right now. So .psp format, althogh reallly huge file size, would be useful. |

The first installment of the hat set has been sent out to be hosted. The .psp template is in there with instructions. Its up to the guilty parties who are hosting it to decide if they want to advertise the file's location.
