Bad Data in PbP

Please let me know if you all think this is a bug or whether it's my league file (please no!). I've noticed two instances in a game I am playing out where the PbP is grabbing bad data. I'm not sure what this means or how it can be fixed. For what it's worth, I have not noticed this happening before in this league.

Can you check to see if the game might be reporting his minor league stats? I think that's something I've seen before.

This guy is in AAA, but yes- he was promoted mid-season from AA and the stats in the PbP are his total from BOTH levels for the current year. 14 RBI's in AA and 2 in AAA. etc.

OK, so now that we know where the data is from, how do we get it to display correctly?

I don't think there's anything you can do in your game. I don't think this behaviour is desirable though, so if you file a bug report, maybe Markus can change how this works.

I had a case of "fortune telling" in my game today. Jonathan Papelbon was 10 for 10 in save opps. When he entered the game, the PBP said he was 10 for 11, guess what happened......He blew the save

Any mid-season call up will have his minor league (or lower minor league) stats until he reaches a certain number of at bats, this also happens in the playoffs when it will give you the regular season stats in PbP

This has been standard behavior since at least OOTP 12.
