Historical Question

Started a 1952 season and found that the settings were at 5 starting pitchers and 3 relievers. I saw I the settings where I could change these numbers so I re started. In the settings before I started his new season I couldn't find that setting to change SP and RP anywhere. I only found it after starting a season. How can I get this done correctly ?

You can't set these when you're using a wizard, but you can change these settings in the advanced league setup. You can change any of the historical, rules, strategy, and other sets of settings as you walk through the advanced mode.

I looked in the advanced settings and didn't see this. I only saw it in advanced after I started the league.

Try this. Under the game menu go to set up and options > League set up > Strategy.

When you create the league, are you clicking the advanced button to exit the wizard, then highlighting your league name in the create game panel before viewing the advanced settings?
