Well just looking at their potential ratings, they look pretty similar. I'd probably go with the college kid because it's a safer bet.

I would go with Hubbard. 100 changeup rating and his 2nd pitch is as good as Garcia's best pitch. I tend to go lean the older players and not high school players, though. The high school kids leave too much time for the OOTP gods to kill their potential ratings.
Would be interested to see what their Work Ethic and Intelligence ratings are though.

Without a question Hubbard. He's more developed so he's a safer pick. Considering their ratings including GB% are pretty similar I don't see any reason to pick Garcia over him.

Hubbard, College LHP better stuff, movement control, great potential on change.
Seems the game doesn't take into account how rare great lefties are compared to RL. |

I lean towards Hubbard because he has a fastball rather than a cutter. For a starter, I prefer a pitcher with a fastball over one without.

I would go with the college player as well. He is more developed and the level of competition he played in college was high. The high school player had lesser competition relative to his development, and I have found that a greater level of competition often makes a big difference in a player's pro development.
