...I can't remember how to create a new league in an existing universe. I simmed the NA from 1871-75, now I want to create an American Association for 1876. But if I hit 'ADD LEAGUE', it throws me into the League Creation Wizard...and if I try to make a new Fictional league, it'll create one suited for 2013, with MLB-quality fictionals. What I want is to create a new league suited for 1876 with roughly AAA-quality fictionals. I know there's a trick to it, but I can't remember!

I recall being able to set the league year for strategy , modifiers and financials in the wizard though....

I could be wrong, its been a REAL long time since I added a full fledged league and not a template or minor league.

But before I add anything to my league....I back it up. Back it up man! Just in case you muck it all up.

Markus said issue's with Historical's will be addressed in Wednesday's patch. I'd wait...

FWIW I just started an 1871 season and simmed one year. I added a fictional league thru the wizard selecting 1872 standards. It worked, but if I recall correctly their have been issues with settings changing over time and will be addressed in tomorrow's patch.
