Best way to start partial MLB league setup?

Toying with the idea of starting a fictional league with say ~20 MLB teams and their minor league affiliations. Would like to take advantage of the add-ons that setup real logos and such. What the best way to do this?

Start with MLB setup, delete and rearrange teams as I see fit, then save the league as a template and start over with that template??

i think with a template you lose some of your clean ups with caps and jerseys ect
save the template just in case
my guess would be once you have what you want, to save the game as a quickstart- then you have exactly what you saved come up in a new game

Save as QuickStart - I'll have to look around for that. Thank you.

They way I did this was as a fictional league. I have a 16 team MLB 2000. I have it as a quickstart but it is partially incomplete i have 4 levels of minors. All teams are real.
MLB 2000.zip
Players are fictional mostly, some are clones of MLers. Owners are incomplete, some are fictional. Stadium photos are not done as I dont like the picture for the Astrodome. All uniforms are from Reds1 1969-2013 set and are from various years, mostly early around 1969. Worst case you can use this as a base.
