A couple of cosmetic glitches
Just a few random observations of some cosmetic glitches:
"Inaugural Draft" is misspelled (and has been for all releases of the game) on the Main Menu when you initialize a league and choose to begin with a draft. The text on the draft button reads: "Special: Inagural Draft". The "u" after the first "a" is missing. The opening splash screen on the iPad version is apparently loading the lower res iPhone splash file--I checked the game directory using iExplorer and it appears that there are two versions of the splash--for some reason, the high-res iPad version is being ignored on launch (on iPads). On the Player Awards screen, under the Awards Listing column, the date of the award is partially obscured by the award description so that the last digit of the year is missing from view. On the "Select a Game" screen, if there are no games available to select, the button alerting you to this fact is clipped top and bottom and looks a bit odd. Of these issues, the only one that's really important is the award description on the Player Awards screen. That one should definitely be fixed in the next update. |

The text when playing out games also runs off-screen or into the background image. Makes it difficult to read at times.
But, I have a feeling that this is known and not something that's a major concern/worry at this time. |

A couple of cosmetic glitches
I'll add this one again. Batter was injured on play and winds up at 1st base. I have to put in a pinch runner. I do and then he stays in the game. In the Boxscore he shows up as PH but in fact he is a PR. It doesn't affect stats but is annoying.

Another cosmetic issue: game dialog boxes currently include padding (which shows the background), when (from a cosmetic perspective anyway) the background should not be visible (eg, in the example below, the dialog should float over the buttons without the added grey padding at the edges).
And yes, in my real life I'm a editor so I notice stuff like this.

I saw this too. I seem to remember this happening a lot in early versions of OOTP.

A similar issue happens for human players (not the AI) when doing double substitutions: if you replace a starting pitcher with a position player, and a position player with a relief pitcher, the boxscore will show the position player as having appeared as a pitcher, and the pitcher as a position player. The player's fielding stats will also show that they played these positions as well. If the AI makes these changes, the boxscores and stats are correct. A bit annoying. |

No big deal. But at the beginning of the third line, "owners" is here in lowercase.

I'm having trouble getting it to recognize my taps on buttons. I have to tap around a button before I find the right spot (iPad).

It also is affected by the orientation you have the iPad at. Flip it one way, buttons are spot on, turn it over, and they're slightly off, which is a pain for me, because the cover I have is pretty much only usable one way and it's the wrong one for iOOTP.

I've struck this too (iPad2). Tried a reboot to no avail. In my case it turns out that a brief tap doesn't usually work - but if I tap and hold then eventually it works. I'm getting used to it, but I haven't had to do this with any of the previous iOOTPs or any other app.
