A Bug With Manager History and Season Score
I was in 2014 with St. Louis and I had a record of 89-73 and won the champion of NL Central. In the playoff I had 3-0 against Miami, 4-3 against Washington, then lost 2-4 to Detroit.
But I only had 361/1000 with my season score, and in Manager History it says that I did not make the playoff. (Something obviously went wrong with that) I thought I did pretty well and I would have a score around 600. This is the first time I use this forum and it seems that I don't have the permission to attach images. So I am using Flickr but it is also the first time I use Flickr... Hope I will succeed |

I don't understand how those scores are calculated. There's definitely points awarded for wins and for winning the World Series, but there's more to it. My best score is 1314 (fictional league) but I've had other seasons that were almost as good but only got me scores of 1000-1100. Beating expectations and improvement from previous season helps too.
I couldn't see the screenshot, so I can't tell, but what's the date? Made Playoffs / Won playoffs / Did not qualify is not added till Jan. 1! |

I had the same 89-73 record as you, didn't make playoffs and scored a 577. My team was only expected to play .500.
The year before I was 92-70, wild card team, lost in first round and won the Manager of the Year with an 828. The team was only expected to play.500 and had just come off of 2 years in last, then next to last with no expectations. Winning the manager of the year that one year made me believe if you can do well with a lousy team you get a higher score than doing the same with an all-star team. |
