Historical Play and Creating Leagues

Been playing OOTP 13 for about two months now and love it. Going to buy 14 when it comes out. I have a couple noob type questions that I would appreciate some insight on:

1. In historical leagues, is it possible to have players debut when they debuted in the minor leagues? That way they can progress through the minors (or not depending on how things go) like in real life instead of immediately being MLB caliber as a rookie.

2. I know it would be time consuming, but how is it possible to create entire leagues? Teams, logos, players, player ratings, stadiums....everything. Is there a tutorial to walk me through this process.

Thanks.

1. Use the Spritz DB. I believe it has players from the year they were drafted not the real debut year. PM him for more info. I know i have a ton of 16-20 yr olds in my minor leagues.
2. Creating you own logos? Download Xara, GIMP or buy Paintshop pro and download a template from ootpmods.com or ask one of the makers for theirs. I tried creating my custom league using a Sprirtz DB Master.cvs and just adding my players. It took me 2 weeks to do 5 players and they still imported messed up. Can't help ya with stadium creation.

If you want to create a league the wizard built into the game is pretty straight forward. The other option, and one that I have used multiple times is to do an MLB league setup and then just make changes to the divisions and minor leagues that I want.

This is a link to thousands of logo's to select fictional or real teams from.

Real Minor league Teams in Historical Leagues is a must but the Game doesn't allow Minor League Teams moving or Minor Leagues Expanding by Computer so lets when Mets and Blue Jays swaped Triple-A Team this year and when you get to 2013 in a Historical League you would have to do it manually.

I realize part 2 of my question was very broad. To narrow it down a bit: how difficult is it to create players and use a real life photo (jpg?) to generate a facegen pic?

Thanks

I do this all the time. I put myself in almost every league. i am on steroids of course and usually am in the top 2 pitchers for the 1st 10-15 years.
Download the modeller take a photo of yourself, a friend, a celebrity and out it into the game. There are several celebrity sets on OOTPmods.com one includes just about every baseball player movie character.

Only NBA Logos at OOTPmods.com no Photo's on Movie Sports Players. Also Site Home Page not up to date because it's past January and nothing new but Game will be out soon.
