Crash Report - Waivers?

Situation:

Playing as Florida about 45 games into regular season. I attempt to recall Jared Smithson from San Antonio, however, the game asks if I want to place him on waivers. Seems strange he needs to go through re-entry waivers, but I confirm and sim a day. He then shows up on my roster screen, so I dress him and set my lineup for that day (due to injuries he would be my 20th player). Sim through game day, and then crash.

The only thing that seemed out of place was having him go to waivers. Which, I am not totally sure the game put him to waivers since he showed in my roster after only one day.

I've had the same issue.

I posted about it in the crashes thread. It is being looked into.

Re-entry waivers are gone. That is some kind of mistake. Players never have to clear waivers to go from AHL to NHL.

The one day thing is fine. All waivers are 24 hours now.

Yeah, I've put that on the bug list so it gets looked at quickly, I don't imagine it'll be hard to remove. There's likely a few new CBA things like that which aren't in yet.

This must be the issue I'm having. Start of the season, over the cap, I was making a renegade waiver move to drop a huge contract since I can't even trade it, and it keeps crashing when I try to sim out the day. Glad to see it on the list!
