I have a question. On the international free agent screen, it says one team may not spend over $3,000,000 on a player without consequences. So if you signed the guy on the screen RF "Jose Perez," you would have to deal with the consequences, right?

Now are these Scouting Discoveries the ones automatically sent to our International Complexes? Or are these like the current discoveries we need to sign?
additionally, do players progress or accumulate any stats in the complex? |

Sweet! I really dig the new player origin system. Is there a way to dictate the exact percentage of players generated from each nation selected for the amateur draft pool & international free agency pool?

I'd like to see a widescreen shot of the graphical depth chart. It looks like right now that the stuff on the left is identical to the transactions screen and I was wondering if the screen would take advantage of a higher res widescreen at all.

"International Amateur Top Prospects (optional): These players are typically 16-to-17-years-old who have a reputation of being top talents. They appear as free agents in a new special international section of the league transaction screen and most likely will demand contracts with high signing bonuses (another new feature). You can customize the number of these players who will be created each year. " As opposed to these, which are the current way you get young international players, and which now go into the complex: "International Scouting Discoveries (optional): Your team's scouts constantly evaluate the international leagues as they seek young, raw, and unknown talent. The success of your head scout is determined by the scouting budget, the quality of your scout, and his assigned regions. When your head scout discovers a player who he feels may have a shot at becoming a pro, that player is automatically to your team's new international complex. Players in the international complex may remain there until their 20th birthdays, after which they will have to be assigned to a minor league team or released." So far as your second question, I believe that players do progress (otherwise, what's the point of having until they're 20 to do something with them), but I do not believe they accumulate stats as they are not playing any games, to my knowledge. |

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be a percentage of the total bonus money like the lines immediately above and below it, but for some reason it is not working properly at the time the screenshot was taken.

To this and other similar questions - the game hasn't even gone through beta testing yet. So don't worry much about any of the details on the screens; they're just to illustrate what new cool stuff will be possible in OOTP14. Anything on those screenshots that looks wrong will be fixed, and if any international prospect is requesting a signing bonus larger than a team's bonus pool, I'll be reporting that as a bug in beta and it will be addressed, I'm sure.

question about the default and amateur draft country options.
when selecting the countries and percentages of each country will it be a solid number percentage (17%) or will there be a decimal place (17.3%) or will it be a ratio like the facial hair? |
