MLB Quickstart Settings
What are the most realistic settings for the MLB. Draft rounds, AI Eval settings... pretty much anything that you change in the league setup menu before the season starts. Right now, I have my injury settings on High (Modern Realistic), AI Eval 40/30/20/10. Rating based on AI Eval's. and 35 rounds of amatuer draft. Players for 40 rounds created.
What settings do you guys use to get the most realistic experience for you? |

I turn scouting accuracy to low, use the 2-8 scale for everything, 1-5 scale for coaches. Turn star ratings off.
I turn trading difficulty to hard and favor prospects. AI Eval: ratings: 35% this year: 20% last year: 35% 2 years ago: 10% In my opinion the "sample size" is too small to put that much weight on current year stats. And this game ratings swing up and down unrealistically fast, so 2 years ago stats don't say much about current player. I also turn all playoff rounds/series to 9 games to increase sample size thus awarding the better/more skilled team. I also usually increase the salary demands significantly (anywhere from $2-$5M). Something like: "super stars" ~$22.5M, "stars" ~$17.5M, "good players" ~$12.5M, etc. |
