Online GM Can't Update File VIA Game..

I just want to start this off by saying that I have 30 of 32 owners up and running perfectly fine and despite spending HOURS trying to find a resolve, we are completely stuck with one owner, so I need to turn to you guys.

Also, I think its very hard to find great, active GMs in online leagues and we have a group of them in my league and this guy is right up there with the best so I think it would be a shame to lose him due to technical difficulties....

Here is the problem:

GM can go to homepage, download the league file and get into the game. Once he is in the game he can make changes, export files, etc.

However.....

When he clicks "Check for Updated League File" and It stops at 0%, and holds. It will eventually time out again, with Error: Could not download file.

I had other GMs try the same exact thing different times and it worked without issue. This particular GM is in other online leagues and is having no issues with downloading files so I have to assume there is a connection being broken somewhere between us.

I have also received this message from his last night, in case this might help:

Well here is the thing... right now, there is NOTHING in my import/export folder. I don't really know how to do the simple task of giving you a screen shot. But, for example... in my other leagues it looks like this (as an example):

Following the folder path: Out of the Park Developments/OOTP12/saved games/Adult Baseball League.lg/import_export...

Inside that import_export folder are THREE things:

2 files that are represented by an icon that looks like a stack of colorful books: ABL.tar AND ABL.tar.gz

And 1 file that looks like a dat file that is titled: team_27.ootp

Our theory is that our problem lies here. So we should review this folder with our steps tonight to see if this is happening. In addition... look at all of your leagues, including the ones you are not the commish in... see if you are seeing the same thing in your import_export folders.

the difference here is he is using his other league which is version 12 as a reference. We are on version 13 and he is using 13 to do all the steps we been trying.

Anybody have this issue before? Any thoughts, suggestions. We will try anything.

sounds like either he has an old accountsgm.dat or has it in the wrong location.

It should be in ootp13/savedgames/league.lg/settings
