I have a request for a small aspect of financials that i'd love to see in commish mode for at least the NHL level:

Average League-wide Revenues, profits/loses, attendance, ..etc for all teams. Maybe top 3/bottom 3 estimated value.

I love playing ootp as a commissioner in a fictional league/world and building my league into the best with profitable teams. If allowed i'd love to do the same with this game but having the averages worked out. All this information is available to real commissioners so it would be ideal for being included here too.

This might not be a top priority item, but for me it's a new perspective to play the game (at least in ootp). It adds new goals to (single player) GMs/Commissioners and adds alot of added depth that we all have come to love with these games.

Here's another request:

USER GM contracts.

If i'm playing as a GM i want to be given a contract with money figures and a term. If i do a great job i will be rewarded with bigger pay.

This might seem pointless to some because there's nothing you can do with that money but the idea is that if you're a great GM you should be paid as one. If you're the best GM in the league, you should be paid accordingly.

What's more rewarding then winning a stanley cup and having your contract expire and your club offer you a big money long term deal as the GM for the next decade. What a reward that is!

When your GM is out of a job or a high profile junior/ahl guy you'd get offers to be the GM (Term and price) at particular teams and in playable leagues. It adds not only a fun factor but realism too plus adds added goals for players. It's one feature that hasn't been added to these sort of games that really should be considered. I'm sure other GMs in the game get contracts, why shouldn't the player?


To have the TOTALS of the amount of money GMs, Coaches, and for that matter players earned within their careers all saved in both their profile screens as well as a field in the league history would be a great feature. Nothing beats the comparison game to tell you more about history...

Sadly, OOTP don't contracts human GMs, but I know Football Manager handles this.

...yeah, it's a good thing this isn't ootp So i'm hoping they'll consider it.
