Heartland Baseball League-12 team, fictional, stats only

My name is Herb DeSpain and I've been playing OOTP since OOTP2. I've been involved in OOTP online leagues since OOTP3. I've always wanted to run my own league and I've decided now is the time. I'd really like to make this a stats only league but for that to work we will need 12 owners committed to the stats only concept. I'd also like to run this league at a moderate pace meaning faster than normal but slower than SLOP which is a great league that finishes each season in under 10 sims. I'm looking at 30 day sims in season and maybe 15 days during the offseason. All rules are negotiable. Also, I know this is unusual but in place of a painful, long inaugural draft I'd like to have a lottery to assign teams as is.

Unable to reach a new labor deal during the 1981 players strike, the owners of the MLB decide it in their best interest to disband. They felt player salaries had gotten out of control following courtroom failures in the seventies concerning player free agency and they had had enough. The United States would not have to wait long for baseball to reemerge as regional leagues immediately began to pop up across the nation. One of those leagues, the Heartland Baseball League, secured corporate backing along with long term local and national media contracts to insure the twelve team league would survive long term.

-Commish does not own a team
-Stats only(5 years of simmed history)
-Lottery to assign teams
-Moderate paced league(in season 30 day sims)
-2 six team leagues, top team makes championship series
-AAA, AA, College Feeder, & High School Feeder
-144 game season with interleague(12H/12A in league with 2H/2A interleague)
-No DH in either league
-Late All-Star game(about 110 games into season) --All players come from Midwest Region
-July 31 trade deadline
-10 round, in game Ammy draft Dec 1st, Feeder league players only
-Scouts/Coaches off
-Suspensions=very low
-Injuries=OOTP Classic
-Delay diagnosis=never
-Fatigue=Average
-Personality/Morale on
-Arbitration Off
-Min service years free agency=4
-Min service years minor league free agency=4
-Rule 5 draft=No
-Minor league options=On
-Right to refuse minors=Off
-Ghost players=On
-Financials are about 1/2 of 1981 MLB

Herb, good to see you starting a league and it looks like an intriguing set-up.

The past few weeks I've been thinking of starting an online league that coincidentally is similar to yours in ways, but I was nervous no one would join.

Rather than begin another league, I should probably just apply to be in yours! It's been a long time since I ran one anyway.

Just to verify, all the players are fictional?

I'm usually slow to join online leagues these days, but since it's run by somewhere I know (you), and it's stats only, I'd love a bid.
