Compiled MLB Jerseys, Caps and Logos 1900-2010

Hey Guys,

I've gone a ahead and compiled the Jersey,Cap and Logo sets available into one set for 1900-2010.

This is a combination of the work of

This set has the yearly changes for each year from 1900-2010. Each year has a separate directories for ballcaps, jerseys and logos. Each season only has the changes for that season.

Each team has home, road and alternate (alternates/not throwbacks), caps and jersey. These are the jerseys files and caps files (not jersey_logo or cap_logo)

I've combined the work of numerous contributors acetonic, fhomess, Matter2003, No Pepper, reds1, Cooleyvol, Gern44 and also added some others myself. I also have logos from I believe Comedian2004 and athletics14.

The majority of this work was done by others and they deserve most of the credit. For the most part I just put it all together and made many tweaks to the caps (resizing logos etc) to make them look better in game.

Note: The earlier you are the less road/alternate jerseys there are in this set, however, once the 1950s hit they are more available.

I have sent these on to Padres site and they should be available soon...

If you guys have any updates or tweaks feedback and additions are great.

This is clearly a great contribution to the OOTP community. The time and effort it took to do this is very admirable. Many thanks to Gambo for them and to Padresfan as well for making these, and all the other mods, so readily available to all of us.

Keep in mind guys. I did most of the combining and some tweaks but the real credit goes to the guys who did at least 85%-90% of the actual work creating the uniforms and such.

Oh and Marberi needs credit too. Sorry dude. I left your name off the list.

just letting ya know that the 93 Road jersey for the Florida Marlins is showing up as a white jersey, not sure if that was intentional or not

It's gray...compare it to the home jersey. It may need to be a little darker but there is a difference.

First of all let me say that it's effort like this that makes OOTP the best baseball sim out there! I downloaded the Historical Face Gens file late last night and was floored by the photos that were created. Very nicely done! Now I'm stoked about checking out the uniform options I'll have after downloading the file that Gambo and the boys put together. If someone can please explain to me how to access the uniforms and caps, I'd greatly appreciate it.

So far I've downloaded it and placed it in my addons/downloads folder, but can't figure it out from there. I can't install it from Add-Ons Central because it doesn't show up as an available add-on, even if I hit the "Reload Add-Ons List" button. I'm also unable to download anything using my browser because when I attempt that nothing happens. Obviously I have some tweaking to do to my game set-up but I'll be damned if I know where to start. The more add-ons I can use the better it will be for everyone at OOTP because I plan on running another of my leagues and expect some big names to participate (like Curt Schilling). I'm also going to post a review to my website and though my lack of ability to figure out how to get some of these add-ons to work won't impact my opinion of the game (I've been a fan since version 3), I'd love to be able to post images that show the work you guys have done to make OOTP that much better.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Great work everyone. I'm still very new to OOTP despite buying 11 & 12 so forgive me if obvious. As there is no readme could you please tell me where this needs to be put, thanks.

For the Jerseys Caps and Logos at this time you need to put which ones you want to use in either the data/jerseys,.../ballcaps,.../logos directories respecitevly or in your specific leagues html/images ? directory.

Some may also need to be renamed to remove the road or alt designations. In this way they will automatically load. Or you can do it manually within your league by selecting the file in the team edit area.

As for the Facegen set it goes in your FG_Files directory.

You must put the caps in the "ballcaps" folder and the jerseys in the "jerseys" folder, which should be located in the "Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 11" folder on your hard drive.

I don't have OOTP 12, but this should work the same as with ver. 11 and with PC, as well as Mac.

All I have at this time is a file called "MLBCompiled1901-2011full.rar." I have no idea what a .rar file is, so I'm assuming I have to "unzip" it to access the jerseys, logos and caps. How do I do that? I apologize for being obtuse but I'm slightly behind the curve.

I'd love to but I don't see any files to move, just one big one as described in my response above to Gambo.

You have Mac, right? Well, IIRC, you must double-click on the .rar folder to open it first and then, choose the folders within and drag them to your desktop. This should automatically decompress the files.

No, Windows 7. I just figured it out (Google is a beautiful thing). I didn't have a utility to unzip the files, which is why I couldn't see the files. I do now and I can access them now. Thanks for the assist!

Great to hear this. All you have to do now is follow Gambo's instructions and you should be set
