Hi, I'm in a league with no scouting. I only have two players in my farm system with starting potential. My question, why would I keep the others? What value do they have if they don't have major league potential?

Well for one reason, even with no scouting it's possible for players to get suddenly better through the development engine. Also, it doesn't really hurt you to keep those guys in the minors - most of the players in most minor league systems will never make the majors, basically they are just there as filler so that the minor league teams have full rosters. Your other prospects probably have minor league contracts as well, which means you are paying them barely anything.

Just make sure they are not blocking the progress of guys with true potential. You still have to pay attention and manage your minor league rosters in that regard.
