Hey not able to post in tech support so...
Okay so I have been having several problems with OOTP 13. I decided that I may need to uninstall it. So when I look for the uninstall file I cant find it. Where is the uninstall/reinstall file? Game really pissing me off now. Really want to play but can't until this gets fixed.

If your running windows, you should just be able to uninstall in from Add/Remove programs.
To re-install just use your ootp.exe file from wherever you saved it. I highly suggest you right click the ootp13.exe and click run as administrator even though you may be the administrator. Last edited by Bigrod; 09-04-2012 at 04:52 PM. |

If it's missing from Add/Remove Programs, you SHOULD be able to uninstall it manually. Copy and paste one of the following into the "Search programs and files" box on the start menu:
64-bit Windows: "C:\Windows\Out of the Park Baseball 13\uninstall.exe" "/u:C:\Program Files (x86)\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 13\Uninstall\uninstall.xml" 32-bit Windows: "C:\Windows\Out of the Park Baseball 13\uninstall.exe" "/u:C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 13\Uninstall\uninstall.xml" If you're unsure if you are running 32 or 64-bit, see How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or 64-bit version of the Windows operating system. Be sure to release the license first, which you can do from in-game. How do I uninstall the license for my OOTP Developments game? - Kayako eSupport Help Desk Software Ultimately, the manual really needs to be updated, as the uninstall shortcut isn't placed in the Start Menu like it says it is. If you're not running Windows...then...well...I got nothin'. ![]() |

Thanks...also got one other problem. Every time I try to play a historically accurate game starting from 1871, I end up in like 1902 with players hitting 96 hrs a season...also the game will become corrupt somewhere in 1940 so idk if that is also part of the other problem I was having.

Can't help you with the funky results, since I pretty much never play historical.
As far as releasing the license before uninstalling - if you're planning on reinstalling, then it's not strictly necessary as the license should just "be there" when you reinstall, but it's a good idea to do, just in case something goes wrong with the uninstall/reinstall. |
