High A versus Low A
Hi all,
I am playing with the normal 2012 MLB setup as the Minnesota Twins and they have two A-level minor league affiliates: a team in the Florida State League (Fort Myers) and a team in the Midwest League (Beloit). In real life, Fort Myers is a "High A" team and Beloit is a "Low A" team. Is this distinction made at all by the AI in the game or should I treat the competition in each league as the same? I guess the same question goes for all of the A-level and Rookie-level leagues: does the AI know to treat different A-level leagues as harder or easier? Thanks! |

If you look at the green arrows on a player, promoting someone from "low A" to "high A" makes the arrow disappear even though the verbage says "ready for AA". That tells me that the AI sees a difference, but I have no real confirmation of that.

You will also notice the Player Creation Modifiers are different. The AI does treat them as different and will do so.
This has been confirmed as well. The difference should be made clearer but there is a differennce |
