E-mails from Retired Players

A little background...every off-season I add players to my short list that I think have an outside shot at making the hall of fame if they had retired that offseason. I also check the shortlist for any of the players I previously put on there to see if any of them did in fact retire and if there are any I look closely at their stats and accomplishments to see if they're deserving.

Then I thought, wouldn't it be nice to automate at least part of the process. While I know it's a bit late for feature requests, I think it'd be a nice feature to have players in our shortlists send us an e-mail when they retire.

I'm tempted to say this shouldn't be too hard, but I know that's not always necessarily the case so I'll just ask if this is possible and whether it can be added to a feature request list if such a list exists.
