Things to change and do for a stats-only modern game with feeder leagues?

I'm setting up a stats-only modern game with feeder leagues for the first time. What all do I need to change and/or do differently besides just changing the displayed ratings and AI evaluation? What do I need to watch out for? Any help from the stats-only vets here would be appreciated.

Set stats detail to very high...keep all l/r split info from majors and minors...same with fielding.

the main thing I look for in a player is at bats (for positon players) and OBP, and the scouting reports, which are invaluable to me. Any positive comments regarding work ethic is a major factor in the report. For pitchers, I will look at WHIP, and also groundball % stats, once again, work ethic being the key in the reports.
